I'm drowning in
A sea of tears,
A sea of sorrows.
I struggle through
The black, cold water
Trying to break the surface,
Trying to break free;
But the current pushes me
Further and further down
Into the deep void.
I'm standing in,
A cloud of confusion,
A cloud of doubt.
I wander in circles through
The thick, deceiving fog,
Trying to find a way out,
Trying to find my way home;
But the fog dances in front of me,
The whisps clouding my sight.
Suddenly a ray of light
Pierces the dark waters
And the deceiving fog.
A guide, illuminating
My way from the pain
And the torment I've endured.
A ray of hope:
My salvation.
